Founded by James Darmody in 2010, Intermetallix initially took root in the heart of NSW Central West, specializing in maintenance and repair services for mobile earthmoving equipment in open-cut and underground mining operations. In 2015, we embarked on a journey towards innovation in welding technology by introducing our cutting-edge 6-axis automation cell. This automation cell boasts both Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes, aligning with our commitment to advancing technology, quality, repeatability, and productivity.

With over 25 years of hands-on experience in welding fabrication and maintenance repairs, Intermetallix has gained invaluable insights into welding compliance measures to meet industry statutory requirements, risk management practices, and technical guidance, all aimed at upholding quality assurance and control standards in welding activities.
